Tonight will be the second quarterly Underground Meeting that my church hosts at various locations around St. Augustine to remember in prayer those who are persecuted for the name of Christ. These are my notes for the meeting. I hope you will join us in praying for them.
- Isaiah 59:1, 4, 9, 14-21 (Ref. Ephesians 6:14, 17)
- Isaiah 60:1-3, 14-15, 17-22 (Ref. Revelation 21:23)
- Isaiah 61:11
Whether or not we choose to intercede, the Lord will be glorified, He will rescue His people and vanquish their enemies. He will set up His kingdom. The light has come. The glory is here, resting on us. We carry it. So what are we going to do with it? Are we going to leave the Lord wondering at our inactivity? Or will we put on our armor and join ranks with Him to see His will accomplished? Will we wear zeal as our cloak? Will we speak the Word He has put inot our mouths? Will we be the City of the Lord, whose walls are salvation, whose gates are praise, whose inhabitants are overtaken by righteousness?
Will we step in for those who don’t have the option of being as lukewarm as I am prone to being? All give some; some give all. Which ones are we?
